DRAMA IN THE EFL CLASSROOM
Because of the many benefits that drama can offer, its use in EFL classrooms is highly recommended. In such a learning approach, dramas are very suitable to use because the components of drama (actions, dialogues, and nonverbal languages) facilitate the students to actively participate in the language learning process. This will put the learners at the center of learning. By asking them to perform a drama, they can practice all language skills so that they learn to communicate in a contextualized way.
